DIM & Detox offers support for antioxidant defence and function of the liver, an organ essential to the body’s detoxification. BioResponse DIM® provides 25 mg per serving of a highly absorbable form of DIM, an important metabolite of indole-3-carbinol. DIM supports the expression of antioxidant and phase II detoxifying enzymes, which protect tissues from oxidative stress, toxins and reactive substances. Alpha lipoic acid and N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) also provide antioxidants for cellular protection and act to support phase II detoxification enzyme activity in the liver. l-Methionine is an essential amino acid that supports glutathione production and encourages healthy liver function, including phase II detoxification pathways, healthy hepatic fat metabolism, and bile flow. The amino acid taurine is also present in liver cells as an important component of bile acids, which aid in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.

Recommended Use: Helps to support liver function, an organ involved in the detoxification process. Source of amino acids involved in muscle protein synthesis.

Recommended Adult Dose: Take 2 capsules daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.

Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, kidney stones, liver disorder, symptoms of low estrogen, are taking contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, any medication or natural health products or are attempting to conceive. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen, if you develop liver-related symptoms, symptoms of low estrogen or experience symptoms of low blood sugar such as sweating, paleness, chill, headache, dizziness or confusion. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Ensure to drink enough fluid before, during, and after exercise.
